BIO
ARIS J. KARALIS is a shareholder of the firm. Mr. Karalis focuses his practice on business reorganizations, workouts and commercial transactions, with emphasis in representing businesses and their owners in out-of-court reorganizations as well as bankruptcy cases. He has represented parties in restructuring, reorganizing and selling of complex businesses in an array of industries. His commercial experience includes transactions in the apparel, construction, healthcare, hospitality, legal, real estate, retail and manufacturing industries, among others.
Mr. Karalis is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and American Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference. He has lectured in the areas of bankruptcy and creditor’s rights. He is also a past member of the J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court.
He has been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as a “Best Bankruptcy Lawyer” and was among Pennsylvania Super Lawyers (2005-2017). He is included in the Best Lawyers in America and has been named in numerous editions of Chambers USA’s America’s Leading Lawyers for Business for bankruptcy/restructuring.
