Aris J. Karalis is a shareholder of the firm. Mr. Karalis focuses his practice on business reorganizations, workouts, and commercial transactions, with an emphasis on representing businesses and their owners in out-of-court reorganizations as well as bankruptcy cases. He has represented parties in restructuring, reorganizing, and selling complex businesses in an array of industries. His commercial experience includes transactions in the apparel, construction, healthcare, hospitality, legal, real estate, retail, and manufacturing industries, among others.
Mr. Karalis is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and American Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference. He has lectured in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He is also a past member of the J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court.
He has been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as a “Best Bankruptcy Lawyer” and was among Pennsylvania Super Lawyers (2005-2024).
